ROBOT ROAD CONSTRUCTION ROLLER An impressive and rare toy in excellent condition. Manufactured in the 1950's by Nomura , this battery operated 10 inch long road roller in metallic blue with a classic Robot at the controls propels forward with lighted moving pistons. But that's when the fun begins. As the front bar hits an object, the vehicle shifts into reverse; then when the back bar strikes an object, the vehicle shifts into forward again. All original, a scarce toy with only minor playwear. |

JOUSTRA SATELLITE
Mounted on a metal tripod, a beautifully lithographed tin metal globe with a clockwork mechanism. Wind the globe up, release it, the Earth begins to spin, causing the attached satellite to orbit, replicating the early sputniks. Box graphics are wonderful, a difficult toy to find as distributed primarily in Europe. (Rubber suctions cups on tripods base shows usual signs of hardening and cracking with age) |
